Memorial Day is a day of remembrance of those who have died in service to our country. With the successful outcome of participating in the Honor Flight Fundraiser last year, we have decided to team up and contribute our appreciation again.
An Honor Flight is conducted by transporting as many United States military veterans as possible to see the memorials of the respective war they fought in Washington, DC, at no cost to the veterans.
Dovenmuehle would like to say Thank You both in words, spirit, and actions. Dovenmuehle will be partnering with Honor Flight of America which is a nonprofit organization that provides an all-expenses paid trip to Washington D.C. to visit the memorials built in their honor. It is a special day for veterans to not only see and experience the monuments that have been built, but also to connect with other veterans, and have an entire day to be recognized as the heroes they are.
Dovenmuehle is asking for donations to be able to help honor a veteran and send them on this special trip.
