Sharing a Meal with a Veteran

The Lone Eagle Honor Flight Hub will fly more than 300 veterans from across the United States to participate in an Honor Flight during the 2022 season. Sponsors can fund the food and nutrition for these veterans for a trip or for the entire season.

Sponsors of the meal program provide veterans with three meals per day over the course of a three-day period or the same for six trips as the season sponsor.

The Lone Eagle Honor Flight ensures that all veterans, regardless of their geographic location, veterans can participate in an Honor Flight trip. While the Honor Flight Network is comprised of 130 Honor Flight Hubs around the country, not every area is serviced by a regional Hub.

The Lone Eagle Hub honors veterans of all service eras, but gives priority to those who served during WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam War and the time periods between these conflicts. Additionally, our Lone Eagle Hub serves critically ill veterans of all service eras who have less than one year to live.

Honor Flight Network is pleased to provide the following major donor recognition:

  • A national media release (upon request)
  • Listing as a major donor via Honor Flight’s social media and website.
  • Use of the Honor Flight Network logo.
  • Opportunity for corporate and employee volunteer engagement.
  • Special mention in the Lone Eagle trip itinerary.
  • Opportunity to dine with veterans and provide remarks during the evening meals.
