Our Vision
A nation where all of America's veterans experience the honor, gratitude, and community of support they deserve.
A nation where all of America's veterans experience the honor, gratitude, and community of support they deserve.
The Honor Flight Network is a national network of independent Hubs working together to honor our nation’s veterans with an all-expenses paid trip to the memorials in Washington, D.C., a trip many of our veterans may not otherwise be able to take. Participation in an Honor Flight trip gives veterans the chance to share this momentous trip with other veterans, to remember friends and comrades lost, and share their stories and experiences with each other.
!! FLIGHT ALERT !! Covid Protocol Update 4/18/22 As you may be aware, today a federal court judge repealed the mask mandate for airplanes, airports and other public transportation methods (including buses). As of this time this evening, many airlines (United, Alaska and Delta to the best of my knowledge at this point in time) have made public statements that indicate that masks are no longer required on their planes (travelers may wear a mask at their choosing, but are not required to do so any longer). If you/your Hub are traveling in the next couple of days, we ask that you please follow the directive of your airline crew in terms of what your airline is requiring at the time of your travel, as I anticipate that the next couple of days will be a bit challenging in terms of administration of the federal court’s decision. HFN is NOT requiring masks if they are not required by the airline or bus company. – Meredith Rosenbeck, CEO Beginning in 2022, Honor Flight Network will not require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test for participation in an Honor Flight trip. Hubs may, at their discretion, choose to require that all participants be vaccinated and/or provide proof of a negative COVID test. Masks must be worn if required by federal or local policy/ordinance. Additionally, masks must be worn in any venue or business that requires a mask. It continues to be strongly recommended that unvaccinated individuals be encouraged to wear a mask even when optional, especially in close settings, while on an Honor Flight trip. |
